Domain Acquisitions/Renewals

We are an authorized agent for domains and services through Network Solutions, Inc. You simply tell us the domain or domains in which you're interested, and we'll take care of the rest. And when it comes time for renewal, we will notify you of your options and handle all the details.

DNS Services

DNS stands for Domain Name System. Very simply, it tells a browser where to find a web site's pages. We do full DNS services in-house for our clients' domains. This includes e-mail forwarding as well (discussed next).

E-mail Forwarding

E-mail forwarding allows you to use your domain name in your e-mail address. For example, assume yourbiz.com is your domain name, and you're using Road Runner with an e-mail address of jsmith123@neb.rr.com. With e-mail forwarding, we can set up a branded e-mail address of jsmith@yourbiz.com, which would forward to your Road Runner account, automatically.
 

Added benefit: If you change your ISP (e.g., from Road Runner to Windstream), you don't have to change your e-mail address. Just let us know what your new address is and we'll change the forwarding assignment (no need to re-print business cards or letterhead).

SSL Services

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer (i.e., web sites that start with https://). This transfer protocol is used to protect sensitive data when transferred over the Internet (such as credit cards). We use commercial-grade SSL software in-house (specifically, Stronghold by C2Net).
 

Our Unique Method

Our unique method is to take a credit card order from your customer (securely and safely), and then automatically FAX the order to you within minutes. You, in turn, process the order as usual. This has the same effect as a customer faxing their order to you using a standard fax machine.
 

Benefits:

• Use your existing merchant account. No need to incur set-up fees by creating another "Internet" merchant account.
• Receive Passive notification via e-mail that an order is on its way.
• Receive Instrusive notification that you've received an order (fax ring+hardcopy).

Video Conversion to Flash

If you have a video you'd like to present on the Web, we can convert it to a streaming Flash object and embed it within your site. A streaming video means it will start playing as soon as your Web visitor clicks the play button (i.e., there's no waiting to download).
 

Added benefit: Since most folks have a Flash player plug-in installed in their browser, you don't have to be concerned as to the video file format (MPEG, AVI, WMV, etc.) Also, it's more difficult to abscond with a streaming video than it is with a video that's downloaded in its raw format.
